Except Muslims, population of other religions decreased in the country, according to the preliminary report of “Population and Housing Census 2022”.
Hindu population has decreased in the country – 7.95 percent in 2022 from 8.54 percent in 2011, as per the census.
Buddhist population decreased to 0.61 percent in 2022, from 0.62 percent in 2021.
